Returned From Los Angeles Gift Show

We are back and so full of energy. We have hit the ground running, so many fabulous people
made our show a wonderful event.
Lots of orders to fill and follow ups, just seems like the day is not long enough.
Working on a lot of new pieces, hoping to list a few new ones each day.

Off To The L.A. Trade Show

Saltwater Studio is taking the show on the road!
Georgia and I will be at the L.A. Trade Show, we will set up today.
It runs from July 17th to July 20th.
I will try and post some photos when I get a chance.
Looking forward to seeing a lot of my friends! Hope you can get a chance to stop by!
We will be in the vintage section with lots of wonderful jewelry, mirrors, crosses, vintage
brass doll bead, oh I could go on and on! I think I will just have to take pictures and you
can see for yourself.

Saltwater Studios Shell Party

All the tables were set up with buckets with all your
supplies and a special gift. I received a floral basket
brooch.


Here is a tray full of vintage shell art Judy has in her
personal collection.

The collection ranges from the Victorian period to the 30's and 40's.

I have a new respect for the art of shelling. The colors shapes sizes it is truly amazing

how Judy is able to create a master piece from all natural shells.

Judy Mackey taught the class and educated us all on the history of collecting shells and the art

shell designing.

We all made a wonderful floral brooch, just to give us a feel of what is invoved is using all the

different styles of shells.
